I am Alejandro Guillamon, nice to meet you.

If you are reading this you are probably wondering who am I and why does this blog exist.

Well, "who am I?" is an easy question to answer:

I am an unremarkable human being (no NYT Best Seller, no billionaire, etc.) that really cares about learning and that believes this old adage: I only know that I know nothing.

"Why does this blog exist?" is a little bit more meaty to answer:

This blog is for myself. It is my writing pad.

It is a way to force myself to write down and polish the things that go through my mind. More than anything, it is a selfish pursuit, a pursuit of knowledge and of reflection.

Yet, on a second order, this blog is also for others.

For others to connect, for others to find people that think like them, and for others to entertain thoughts and ideas that differ from their own.

This blog is for those to whom the world is not black and white but many shades of grey.

It is for those that know that, we are the easiest person to fool (and that we fool ourselves often).

It is for those that believe that struggling with the tension of having to act in a world where what we don't know is orders of magnitude more than what we do know is the only way to actually bring goodness and value into the world, and probably more importantly, into our lives.
